Books to Read

All of the books that follow are books that have been beneficial to different ones of my clients. It is important to know that not all information regarding legal aspects of divorce contained within the books is applicable to Texas family law. The books are merely important for your education concerning the process and the possible effects your divorce has on you or your children. Obviously, books geared for parents are not applicable to those of you without children. The books recommended are as follows:

  • 2nd Chances : Men, Women, and Children a Decade After Divorce, by Judith S. Wallerstein
  • Divorce for Dummies, by John Ventura & Mary Reed
  • Divorce and Money: How to Make the Best Financial Decisions During Divorce, by Violet Woodhouse
  • Divorce Poison, by Dr. Richard Warshak
  • What Every Woman Should Know About Divorce and Custody, by Gayle Rosenwald Smith, J.D., and Sally Abrahms
  • Your Pocket Divorce Guide, by Linda C. Senn
  • The Unexpected Legacy of Divorce, also by Judith S. Wallerstein
  • The Good Divorce, by Constance R. Ahrons
  • Crazy Time: Surviving Divorce & Building a New Life, by Abigail Trafford
  • How to Avoid the Divorce from Hell, and Dance Together at Your Daughter’s Wedding, by Sue Talia
